Delivery & Returns

DELIVERY

     • How much does delivery cost?

 All delivery charges are quoted at checkout. All prices are in British Pounds. 

    • What is the delivery time?

 We will normally dispatch our  products which are visible in our online shop within 2-3 working days from receipt of your order,and approximate delivery time for UK mainland, is 3-5 working days from dispatch (unless you choose 'Signed For' - see Delivery options below). Please note we cannot give an exact delivery date.  

 For personalised /bespoke products which are made to order, we usually allow 2-3 weeks delivery. If you require urgent deliveries on your custom order, we will try and speed up the handmade process as much as possible, but do let us know in advance.

    • Do you dispatch to other parts of Europe or Internationally?

We are able to dispatch your product to any part of Europe and internationally. Please contact us for more information and a quotation on your carriage cost and lead time for your delivery, before placing an order.

   • Delivery options?

We want to ensure our delivery charges are fair and reasonable, so that is why you can choose the delivery service which suits you best. We offer delivery charges for First Class royal Mail-UK Standard, as well as Royal mail Signed For First Class or Second Class.  

For delivery charges on our site for Royal Mail Standard (Untracked Service), we obtain proof of postage. If your parcel goes missing, or is damaged during delivery, you will have to contact Royal Mail for more information or to make a claim. Unfortunately we don't offer a full refund on missing or damaged products.

Should you need a faster service (1 - 2 days for First Class, and up to 3 working days for Second Class, which includes compensation cover up to £50), please choose the 'Signed For' option.

 

RETURNS

We want you to be 100% happy with the products and services. However, if for any reason you are unhappy with your purchase, you are entitled to return the product within 5 days of delivery, complete with the original packaging to us, at your own expense. You must ensure that you adequately package products, to protect against damage. We recommend using the 'Signed For' Post Office delivery service, which requires a signature to ensure that you have proof of return. Alternatively, obtain a receipt of postage from the Post Office, as we are unable to accept responsibility for parcel lost in transit.

 • Exemptions and exceptions 

Unfortunately we are unable to accept returns on products that have been made to order especially for you, including personalised items, made-to-measure curtains, blinds or other customised products, such as cushions, lampshades etc.

Cotton Moon Design will not refund the shipping cost and the return shipping is the responsibility of the customer.

 

CANCELLATION

To cancel an order with us , please e-mail or write to us explaining the reason for cancellation. We are unable to accept cancellation by phone. Please let us know within 6 hours of placing your order for a full refund. Please note this cancellation policy only applies to non-customised products. Products that are made-to-order, as well as personalised items, cannot be cancelled.

 

ADDITIONAL NOTE and LIABILITY

• All our products are lovingly and professionally  handmade to ensure happy and satisfied clients, but please note, due to the nature of handmade products, slight imperfections and variation might occur from time to time.

• We warrant to you that the products you order will meet the description as shown on our website. While we try to be as accurate as possible, all information provided is approximate and is provided in good faith.

• We have made every effort to display as accurately as possible the colours of our products that appear on this website. However, due to different monitors' displays, colour variation of the digital images may apply.

• We will not accept any responsibility for any damage which occurs to the products after delivery.

 The risk of loss and damage to the products passes to you upon delivery.
